About Jenny Jackson Consulting

I established Jenny Jackson Consulting in early 2020 to draw on more than 20 years as a values-driven senior executive in not-for-profit and for-profit organisations, in addition to numerous non-Executive Director positions. My qualifications in nursing, business, education and governance all lend themselves to an ability to think and act strategically while also being adept at deep diving into complex matters to seek clarity and develop achievable solutions. 

I have held numerous CEO roles and have achieved significant professional success and a strong reputation as a leader and change-agent with passion, creativity, vision and integrity. Building a culture of accountability and success through kindness and a shared vision is a hallmark of my career and one of which I am extremely proud.

I regard the experiences of the past as ‘tools’ in my ‘backpack’ of skills, and combined with significant professional expertise and formal qualifications, they provide me a well-rounded, realistic and highly experienced perspective. They serve to fuel my commitment to supporting organisations and individuals to be the best they can be, with a focus on performance, outcomes, effectiveness and sustainability achieved in a setting of kindness, clarity, compassion, authenticity and accountability.

I specialise in supporting and working alongside organisations and individuals in a variety of ways, including facilitation of workshops and individual mentoring and support, resourcing short term projects and goals and also other larger pieces of work to assist with what can often appear as complex and overwhelming challenges. I focus on client needs and goals and in doing so, aim to enable organisations and individuals to develop achievable, sustainable, outcomes-based plans or solutions. I also specialise in working with businesses to establish realistic strategies and plans in relation to risk, continuous improvement, operational performance and success. I am regarded for an engaging and collaborative style and well-developed interpersonal and written communication skills and style.

When I’m not working, I love to travel and volunteer in developing countries – I care deeply about people and human rights and this cannot be separated from a commitment to caring for our environment.

I practice yin yoga and (although it doesn’t come naturally!), I also enjoy trail running. I love spending time with my partner and children, our friends and our rescue Red Heeler, “Jack” (who also happens to love running!). As you can see by my website, I also love indoor plants! I believe that a combination of all of these help me to maintain a sense of humour, optimism and perspective and come from being mindful about aligning work, play, meaningful connections and personal values.
